The Bridgeport Ballerz have announced the formation of their Black Team, with the Red Team expected to be revealed soon. This is the first time in the team’s history that the Ballerz will field two teams competing at the high school level. Founded in 2021 by Coach Rob, the Bridgeport Ballerz was established to provide a free, organized basketball team for kids who might otherwise be unable to participate due to the rising costs of youth sports. To fund the Ballerz, Coach Rob worked as a freelance high school basketball coach to generate the necessary income. Since its inception, the Ballerz program has been competitive and has won several championships.
