The Bridgeport Ballerz was invited to Red Hook Brooklyn to attend a one day tournament. The tournament was hosted by the Brooklyn based program New Leaders. Several people attended the event was which called “Safe Street” in the Red Hook area. The event offered free food, water and Gatorade, along with a bouncy house, and several other actives for kids to enjoy. The Ballerz was matched up against a team from New London, as they were under the impression, they were going to get the opportunity to match up against a team from New York City
However, despite the disappointment, the Ballerz was able to secure an end to end win, and bring another trophy back to Bridgeport.
