The Bridgeport Ballerz are searching for talented female basketball players to join their Lady Bridgeport Ballerz team. They welcome girls in 7th to 9th grade, but girls in 6th grade with prior experience will also be considered. The Bridgeport Ballerz is a travel team that is completely free of charge and is located in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Players don’t need to be residents of Bridgeport to join the team. After attending a practice, the coaching staff will evaluate a player’s skills and determine if they will be placed on the practice or travel team. Even if placed on the practice team, players will receive team merchandise. However, practice team players are expected to attend consistently and perform well so they can improve their skills and eventually be promoted to the travel team.
