Dior Hill from the Bridgeport Ballerz attended NBA player Chris Paul Middle School Basketball camp and was voted one of the top 40 players. The Camp had over 300 ballers from around the country go to Indiana to compete against one another. The camp started with some basic drills before the players were divided into teams. After being divided, the players played 5 organized games. The teams who end up with the best record play against one another in the Championship.
Dior’s team played well together despite not knowing one another. They won their five-season games, before losing by two points in the Championship. After all the games the camp selected the top 40 players (which Dior was selected) and then the top 20 players. Which was a great accomplishment considering there were 300 players at the camp.
All the players selected to be on one of these teams got the chance to play a final game which was an All-Star game. Even though the kids weren’t able to meet Chris Paul. since he was in the middle of his NBA season, it appeared that all the kids had a good time.
